A wet, gloomy and miserable day in Central London and nothing very much inspiring in photographic terms UNTIL I went through the subways at the BFI Imax and saw this blue subway with green lights. A couple of people came through but didn’t really make the frame UNTIL a woman came through with a GREEN umbrella and viola now we are talking. Slow shutter speed and a bit of a painterly touch and I have to say I really like this picture. MESSAGE? Nothing really, BUT on a wet, gloomy, miserable day in London beauty can be found or created, you just have to look that little bit harder. Would it work better in Black and White. A big NO on that one!
